Vouchers for Life joins hands.
Since the Intifada erupted in 2001, thousands of Jews have fallen victim to suicide bombers and acts of terror. Aside from the physical damage occurring, the entire country has become depressed: physically, emotionally and economically. To answer this problem, hundreds of Bikur Cholim (visiting the sick) trips were organized visiting Israelis to ease their pain and suffering. Vouchers for Life has added another dimension to this by actually stimulating the economy while visiting the sick. This is accomplished by taking vouchers to a store, giving them a sum of money, and having them sign the coupon. The vouchers are then given to victims of Arab terror.
The reaction from all involved parties is unbelievable. This program is amazing because it accomplishes several goals at once. First, it gives charity. Second, it stimulates business. Lastly, it boosts the morale of the country and gets people out of their homes and “living” once again.
Vouchers for Life is a completely non-for-profit organization that has absolutely no overhead and no operating costs. The web site and video were donated. There is no “office” or “staff” or “fundraisers.” It is comprised of a few working individuals who donate their time and money bringing aid to victims of Arab terror. Be a part of this great mitzvah!
